This version of Suake3D was built with the help of EPICs Unreal Engine and is a complete new version of Suake3D compared to the old Suake3D Swift version I built earlier. The old version was featuring a map in the style somehow similar to chessboard. In the old Swift version you could only move Up/Down/Left/Right and turn in 90° angles. The new UE version lets you control your snake character completely free in any direction of the map you like. The map is also not flat anymore but uses the full potential of the UEngine to build open worlds.
Even though the source for the snake model is the same in the old and new version of the game the character models and animation where recreated from scratch and adjusted to unleash and make use of the full potential of the Unreal Engines powers. The enemy "Rat" character features a complete new model and no has the ability to move around and attack you as well as flee from you if it drained to much health from your attacks. Your goal now is not to collect the goodies anymore, but to hunt the Rats and kill them by firing at them with your weapons. The weapon models and functionalities were also completely remade from scratch.
