KnApp is a informational mobile app and responsive website/ webservice for the clients of the K&A Zürich. It shows you some very basic Infos like opening hours, addresses and routes as well as telephone numbers and websites of the different spots in town. The main screen shows you which locations are open at the moment and if there is any restriction on going at the moment (like "1:1" or "Door closings"). The staff also has the ability to enter special opening and closing hours. This way the client have all the information they need in one app and don't have to go to a certain K&A to find out if it's open or not.

The app is a prototype at the moment and yet need to be reviewed, approved and released by the terms of the team and management of the K&A Zürich.

Technical information
The whole app product consists of two parts. The installable Apps for iOS and Android are created with Cordova and is basically a lightweight wrapper app with an in app web view which accesses a responsive website that provides the current and up-to-date information. I used my Cordova Kickstart Webapp as base for this project. The advantage of this technique is that the whole development process is much faster and easier as if you would have to create separate native apps for each platform. Also update to the "App" are much easier to implement and immediately reflected on all platforms as soon as you update the website.
