This page is dedicated to all my projects around 3D modeling, animation, and 3D (game) development. Even if I'm relatively new to this area - I started my serious studies in 3D development in 2018 and learned a lot with the help of online tutorials and sample projects. I'd really like to invite you to check out my progress so far and visit the pages about projects and plugins I built with and for the APIs and Engines. 3D Modeling

Started with Autodesk Maya 3D and then moved over to Blender for creating static and dynamic 3D models. Coming from traditional software development switching to the world of 3D Development, I had to face the fact that this topic is a completely new and different business. It took me about half a year of my free time to learn the basic terms and subtleties of 3D modeling, animation and programming.

3D Animation

For 3D animations I mostly use Blender as it's open source and free. I started with Autodesk Maya 3D but to use it just for education and private projects it was a little bit too expensive for me. That's why I switched over to Blender which does the job just as good if not even better (i.e. speaking of samples and the community support). Blender has a big online community with tons of tutorials and samples.

3D Development

I fell in love with the EPIC Unreal Engine for 3D Game development. It's easy to use for beginners and yet very powerful also for professionals. It provides you with true freedom to do what ever you want to realize your 3D project. It has a rock-solid base engine and you can develop in Blueprint mode or with C++. It has countless plugins, tutorials and samples available online. If you get it to run on your machine you can make big progress in almost no time. And the options are so that you can make a result look real stunning with cheap memory and gpu/CPU impact. Check it out!
